The amount of time necessary to get complete results from a teeth whitening gel is dependent on a wide variation of factors. Including, but not limited to, the brand and type of gel you are using, the shade of your teeth before beginning the process of treatment and whether or not you are using an at home kit as opposed to traveling to the dentist for an in-house treatment visit.
When you use a tooth whitener gel, make sure that you leave it on for an appropriate amount of time as has been instructed in the packaging to get the best results. If you brush off the treatment before it has done all of it's work, your results are likely to be skewed and you will probably receive less than satisfactory results.
Another risk to watch out for is teeth whitening rebound which is when your teeth return to their previous color, even after bleaching.
